3. AI Features and Third-Party Services
Flamingoals uses AI services from Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI to provide
intelligent subtask suggestions. When you use these features:
- Your goal title and description are sent to these AI providers
- The AI generates suggested subtasks to help you break down your goals
- We do not share your personal information (like your email or name) with AI providers
- These services process your data according to their own privacy policies

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

- With Friends: When you choose to share timers or connect with friends in the app

- Delete Your Data: You can delete individual goals or your entire account
- Opt Out of AI Features: You can choose not to use AI subtask generation

- Export Your Data: Contact us to request a copy of your data
7. Children's Privacy
Flamingoals is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information
from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please
contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you
through the app or via email. Continued use of Flamingoals after changes means you accept the updated policy.
9. International Users
Flamingoals is operated from South Africa. If you use our app from outside South Africa, your data may be
transferred to and stored internationally. By using Flamingoals, you consent to this transfer.
10. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you
delete your account, we'll delete your data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for
legal or security purposes.
